About

My personal healing path is what leads me to this place. It has been (and remains) long and winding, like so many who seek to restore vitality and quality of life in the oftentimes contradictory world of health and healing. I take solace in the fact that my life-long journey has been my education, and that it can hopefully help me to be of service to others who have chosen to embark on the challenging, frustrating, and sometimes demoralizing self-healing journey in the modern age. In western medicine, we are rarely left closer to embracing, loving, and accepting ourselves, but instead encouraged to see the parts of our bodies as broken pieces of a puzzle to “fix.” I hope that I can assist others in returning to themselves, to their wholeness and the essence in them that is eternally vital.

I have a varied background — I studied piano in college, worked in digital design, lived in Japan where I learned the art of Japanese flower arranging (and later had an Austin-based flower design business), taught piano to kids, and most recently have been employed at a boutique travel company that helps others to experience unique trips around the world (with a focus on Japan).

From 2018 to 2020, I also apprenticed with the Tibetan Cranial organization — a healing modality that I was passionate about and that had helped me to heal in dramatic and significant ways. I had planned to slowly grow my practice alongside my travel specialist position. In November 2020, I received my practitioner certification with the Tibetan Cranial organization, and in December 2020 (divine timing?…), I was furloughed from my travel job (this break continued until Spring of 2022). This left me time to build my private practice, to attend herbalism school and to learn other healing modalities that had always interested me, as well as to continue focusing on my personal healing journey.

There is a common thread to all the varied work I’ve done and experiences I’ve had over the years — I love finding and experiencing beauty and sharing it with others. In this case, I truly hope that the beautiful thing people find will be themselves.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I very much look forward to working with you.

About the space

My space is currently located in central/east-Austin, Texas, and is an extension of my home. Weather permitting, I meet with clients in my outdoor, screened-in room in my expansive backyard area, which is tree-covered and provides ample privacy.

The environment allows for maximum air circulation, as well as the chance to commune with the elements, hear the birds, and spot an occasional deer wandering through.
